NYPD Blue Discovers Fame in Online Auction

NEW YORK, NY March 3, 2004 -- Photographer Jonathan Pankhurst, sells his images to the highest bidder on an online auction site. One of his most popular images is that of Scott Lambiase, a New York Police officer. ‘NYPD Blue vs City trader’ was discovered, whilst searching for posters on an online auction site, by a family friend Louise ‘I think it is a great photo of a great guy’.

LONDON, UK March 1, 2004 -- ‘The image was shot around 2 years ago, on a trip to New York. At the time of taking the image I did not get the chance to meet with the subject. I often wondered if he would have liked to see the image…’ Jonathan Pankhurst, he continues. ‘We received an email from Louise late last week, she like me could not believe the chance of discovering her family friend. We are going to send them some posters of the image…’
